If you want to contribute to the scene, rasterbars and "oldskool" are not the way to go.

we figured it would be a good place to start, an intro to introduce ourselves :D were going to do a musicdisk, then after that we've got a relatively "newschool" demo in the works

its good to see that the scene would meet a groupe of coders who wanna make some demos with such warm reception :) no wander the scene is getting so much bigger every day. . .

The scene is not about wanting, it's about doing. Respect is not handed out for free in small plastic bags.

A friendly tip: The scene is always welcoming people who do stuff, but if you want respect, I suggest you make something that's not been done twenty years ago on an inferior machine. It doesn't have to be state of the art, first productions almost never are, but fake rasterbars, some 3d stars and a scroller are just something most people are tired of. We've seen them before.

(also, Pouet is not necessarily the friendlist place on the scene :) Visit a party and meet folks, that's the best way to gain friends)

Pilgrimage, at least. I recall hearing that this year there are three parties, but I'm not sure. Or, you could always organize your own.. (or come to Breakpoint, because it's great fun and everybody should be there)

At least you could get a decent page... your page server is relatively oldschool. Props for that.

It's clean the music is good as one of the first peices of work its a great start.

wow, i guess somebody really didnt like the prod, cause my website got h4x0r3d :( so, the link isnt entirely accurate anymore, but you can still get to the demo if you goto here after you enter the site, you shouldnt have much trouble finding the prod ;)

We sceners might not exactly like this production (but secretly i do - starfield, copperbar, orgasm)
But we sceners dont go as far as hacking your website because u made something not so good yet.

And those who do are not sceners.

It's no so bad, maybe you shouldnt try to focus releasing so much as you should focus on quality. Pouet.net is not a most friendly place to start release your stuff. Come to parties and get friends. You have to earn your respect from scene and maybe freebasic stuff isn't the easiest way to do that.

Wow, the 2nd freebasic demo!!! (I downloaded your demo from AAP's site first and now I am surprised to find that at Pouet :)

Music is ok, stars are great, I would prefer some more funky movement of the rasters. Why does the intro look very similar to OSDM demos btw? (One reason I didn't downloaded this at first when I found it here ;)
