I always get a hardone while watching this demo, even when I was a kiddo. I guess, I got my first hardone ever to this demo, yes. yes.
This demo kicks butt.
(Although a lot of ripped graphics from the Amiga ;)
My fave screen in that demo is the one by An Cool (well, I usually don't like what he has done :), with the scrappy scroller, the moving carpet and huge vector balls moving around... and also the reset demo that is really great :)
Please note that the picture I used in my rotozoomer in the STNICCC2000 oric demo was ripped from the intro of this demo :)

I received this demo on summer 89. it was a very very good work, something which look like quite "professional". Of course , the 'sync scrolling' is one of the most impressive screen, I also remember the loader screen with ripped-off picture from the game 'Teenage queen'.
It was the fisrt time i see something about this swedish group called 'TCB'... of course , this demo made them famous on the the ST scene.

Overscan, overscan all over the place. Lots of technical code, but they somehow manage to make it look good.

steem fucked up on the fullscreen tricks but it still had quite a few nice demos inside
that was one of the first demos I've seen those days ... and this one made me think : "Hey, you can do this as well" ... of course I failed but after a little while (2-3 years) I got it, too :o) ...

This demo (or should I say typical Atari demo screen selection) was so awesome. I wonder how many times I've watched The Cuddly Demos. Is there a video somewhere? I realize this is not a stream as modern music video style demos are but still a video should be possible. Would be great!!!

The Spreadpoint screen is my personal favourite. I was putting non-scene people's jaws into drop mode showing this one for years!

Freezes here after decrunching the Spreadpoint demo but what I have seen so far is more than enough for a thumb up! Totally cool parts and very nice main menu as well.

I'd really suggest you get a fully working copy. The Spreadpoint screen is my most favourite bit of all !

Errm, well there's a dusty copy in my diskbox somewhere. The other thing to bear in mind is, are you running on original hardware (STFM rather than STE) or emulation? There might be issues with the latter. My own emulation experience is limited to Hatari, and it isn't the easiest thing to get to run there.
It might be a good idea to throw the question open as to whether the Pacidemo disk image is flawed, or there are problems running the Spreadpoint screen under emulation.
The spreadpoint screen was amazing back then indeed.

Keops: Thanks. That version crashes my Steem right at the beginning but it works with SainT and I must say, the Spreadpoint screen is awesome indeed! But I like the Spreadpoint logo more than the TCB logo. :)
