cool
some cool parts.
Nice surprise to see a megademo these days! Some really nice screens, like the reset screen, and the Carrbeers demonstration of carbon coding skills! Also some nice tunes/gfx.
Great stuff in here. Love the Vectronix screen very much. Great music and effects.
So nice, good job!

WTF, feeling the excitement of the Union Demo again.
'had to double check if this actually was a ST demo.
The amount of work and beautiful design on this prod is insane. I love the pixelart logos A LOT.
Also kudos to DMA-SC who broke the record of Horror Zombies from the Crypt :)

krass
Rob says WOW !
Many nice retro parts in there
Awesome!
So it's finally here :) Cool stuff, thanks to everyone involved!
couldnt be more timely. Rare enough as is, a megademo nonetheless. Right about that day of the month when i put on my biohazard suit and make it through the death zone to the bunker where i store my last real hw ...
I usually run first love and codersguide to test everything including the floppy drive, guess ill give this one a go now. Assuming it either runs the images from HD or i can just copy them (i had to look for the name its been a while, im very scroogey with the floppies i have) using JayMSA (which i think just unpacks it as an archive so im not sure that handles boot sectors or special formats)
(First love is a beamchaser , or has a section with it, i can see it on the screen when it starts as its a vga-adapter - but the screen has the native refresh rate ,twas a rare find - on a mister fpga it wont display properly unless you're using the vga-out as well - so its perfect, and codersguide has full-on realtime DMA streaming so its perfect for that, hard drive transfers, dma sound i test it about once a month after making the death run to the hidden bunker)
Watching those parallax trees makes me cry again why no one in the 90s bothered to actually try to make decent STE games
and ...
i wonder if theres anything available like the assembly tutorial they're giving on CSDB right now . Not that i need that one but its GREAT to see someone open up the can of secrets kept in fort know and trying to explain it in human language for people who dont already know it.
Since a boy i never got to program my STf and STE because i had very little software available, good thing civilization made it all right, and today, i WANT to and using compiled GFA and the paradise and DHS site tools and things i can get something scrolling and use tilemaps, play maxymiser sndh or protracker mods and use 32 colors on a single split but i nowhere find an actual A to Z "this is the map of the STE and all the relevant motorola commands with examples")
i got a ton of scanned manuals but puzzling it all together is a chore , i got what i need for my turnbased game but it would be nice to understand a little more.
If anyone ever hears the calling to educate the illiterate who dont want to resort to the AbomInation of creation ... dozo yo ro shi ku ...
(beware : im a heretic who keeps 2 c64s and two STe's in the same room, you might not want to come near me if you're one of those scientology cultists on the forums lol)
I just wanted to say "GREAT PIECE OF WORK" actually ... id love to see less demos if it means they're more polished , however on the ST scene, less demos today would mean none :p
awesome !!!!!! thanks for all that effort

o (typical) : forgot : you can "runs excellent on a mister fpga core" to the list (i used tos 1.06 on the extended ST core with 16bit drive sounds but im sure the other standards will run just fine too)
Thanks 505, Slippy and Jade for putting this together!
ok
Great music in the menu!
Nice logos
This is cool! Slippy, Jade and 505 turned "a bunch of disconnected screen" into one nice release to be run many times during dark and cold November nights.
Mega! Nice effects and AU music! :D
great!!
A super-duper update to the classic megademo concept!
