No, no MOD player, the music is a raw 8-bit mono WAV file @15625Hz streamed from the SD card. Never measured the overhead accurately, but a non-accurate measurement suggests up to 15% CPU time. Thanks for the inspirational link!

Thanks for the reply; I was confused by how small the file size was for such a long WAV song. Later, I played it without any issues using the Cspect emulator. The 8-bit/15 kHz mono quality is perfectly adequate, and the audio loop is cleverly designed to keep the file size small.
