As said, why not code an engine using WebView2 and WebGL/three.js?
The tech now exists for small HTML based things while still using 3D.

No problem, internally it uses Edge, so it should be feature-complete in C++.

ML: Thank you very much for the hint with WebView 2. I've now adapted the issue I'm working on to it and the result occupies FAR less disk space than the Electron version.

We want to live in a Greater European Empire comprising all of Europe, including Russia, governed by a strong chancellor.
We want a society in which nobody is forced to adapt to others. Everybody may have their own religious beliefs and may even speak their own language.
Gene editing is legal, including germ-line therapy. This allows people afflicted with heritable diseases to have healthy children.
It is also allowed to modify properties unrelated to disease, such as hair color, eye color and intelligence. The effect is that there are no ugly and no unintelligent young people any more.
The Internet is widely used, and everybody expresses their views without inhibitions. Traditional media are replaced by electronic magazines where everybody can publish.
School attendance and military service are voluntary.

Thing is, in my experience, many many liberals are in fact either secret nazifascists or involuntary fascist enablers. So, squirming how you're a liberal and not a nazi doesn't do much really. But, all that aside, you ARE a nazi. A real one.
As you can see in my reply to Preacher I expressed views against nationalism and I also repeatedly expressed views against socialism.
It's a sad end for Hugi that they will always be remembered for “I'm not a nazi, I just wish for a lot of nazi things”.

however, i'm not going to thumb this down, for one reason: by releasing all hugi's as html files in one big zip, it is now possible to data-mine it for scene history. thanks to this package, i was able to get some info (for example, on the lifespan of certain dial-up BBSs) that i was not aware of and that came in handy for Demozoo documentary work. Also, Hugi, despite everything, featured the one or other really interesting contribution over the years, such as interviews with and articles by sceners from peripheral world regions. And these things are already something that made this release worthwhile.

While you think that Putin is a fascist, my mother's boyfriend thinks he's a communist. That example alone shows that there is no consensus regarding terminology in discussions about politics. Everybody understands something else with these terms. So it doesn't make sense debating terminology.

Adok, we’re not talking about terminology here - we’re talking about your ideas and about facts. The issue is not what people call Putin. The issue is that some Europeans (especially in Austria and Germany) are very seriously misinformed about the situation in Russia, and because of that they sympathize with both Putin and the ideas of a “strong chancellor,” a great empire, and so on.
As someone who lives in such an "empire", let me tell you this: when people sincerely start dreaming about a strong chancellor and a great empire, sooner or later they end up with a collar around their neck, poverty, and war.

Actually the right-wing parties in Austria and Germany, FPÖ and AfD, which cooperate with Putin are against European unification, some FPÖ politicians even said that they would like to leave the European Union. The Austrian party that comes closest to my own views is the party "NEOS - The New Austria and Liberal Forum", which considers itself a classical liberal party. They made propaganda for the foundation of the "United States of Europe" at the last elections.
