Far better than the previous Pyrotech demos in my opinion. I really enjoyed the visual design of the butterfly and the graffiti greetings. The rest was...okayish, I guess?

Best greetings, best robot suit design, best motorcycle...

I especially liked the butterfly and the graffiti on the train.

probably the first pyrotech demo i kinda liked... despite it still being a boring 3D assets ride and not much else... but it looked polished enough

greetings part was nice. but overall kinda too cheesy, and its size plus UE-ness of it make it a piggy for me

A great demo. maybe the best one from pyrotech. Is it a commercial engine ?

See if anyone would actually download demos to watch them, "UnrealGame-Win64-Shipping.exe" would be a clue.

a definite improvement over some previous iterations, but what are we doing here, really? a smattering of very safe, generic cyberpunk tropes thrown into a blender. what's the intrigue? certainly not pacing and editing that seem to deliberately try to mismatch the music (which itself is frustratingly limp and forgettable) in every conceivable way. it's as if there's no script whatsoever, but just a sequence of events that occur (someone releases 'butterfly' of some sort, it flies away, the person rides away, picks up the butter fly again, rides some more, gets off, walks away with other identical unidentifiable characters as if on a catwalk), but there's no narrative coherence or a throughline that assigns any meaning to… anything. perplexingly shallow in a way that the feeling overrides everything else going on for me.

assuming at least the graphics assets are primarily custom made for the demo, i can at least respect that, but considering this is still content-wise extremely hollow, and i can't even give props for putting together a decent looking 3D rendering pipeline, i'm kinda running out of anything positive to say. again, some of the ingredients are neat enough, but the presentation is woefully inadequate.

tbh the awful unreal engine lens flares should already be a big enough clue to involved with (or even regularly watching) modern high end PC demos, or just modern graphics rendering in general

@noby sadly more or less all 3d assets are downloaded from the internet. AI art, downloaded assets and a commercial 3d engine. Not my cup of tea. But considering the high placement, this is what the scene wants.

You should have shouted this during the compo.
greetings with proper graffiti pieces => thumb
didn't like the poses & animation of the cyborg ladies too much, but whatever. who created the pieces?

Canned unreal shit, and what's worse, they failed to mention it during the compo...

well i was afraid of that obviously, but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt because i really did want to find at least something to appreciate here. but with that in mind i need to update my vote…

(i don't mind unreal too much though, but if you just want to use a third party rendering engine to display cool graphics, then at least make the damn graphics yourself)

far better than the previous Pyrotech demos indeed

It's content. Delivered on schedule and fulfilling all the requirements to qualify as content. I'm sure it will generate some engagement when the algorithm pushes it to consumers in the demographic that consumes long form content longer than 3 minutes.

If indeed a human intervened somehow in the production of this content, I'm sure the variance introduced by that intervention will provide valuable data for producing content even more expeditiously in the future.

Just once I'd like to see some Finnish bearded, beer-bellied 3D model walk cycles. :D

The graffiti greetings is probably one of the best looking greetings part in a long time! I will not comment on the rest of the demo though...
