If you can, watch it on a real CRT. The demo heavily relies on interlacing, frame blending, and 50 Hz.

Nice tune and neat extra color generation trick! Tried watching in the Atari800MacX emulator at first, but just got the message that the demo needs PAL mode. Falling back to the video.

Atari800MacX defaults to the "Atari 800 (48k) NTSC" machine. In the preferences, you can set it to "Atari 800 XL (64k) PAL." Yet, the refresh rate on my Intel and M1 Macs could be better compared to Altirra on Windows. Again, it's nothing compared to the actual hardware.

Very nice on real machine! Scrolling tip picture and sliding Scroller line, wow! Buddy did a really great job with the music!
Looks really good, but indeed, only on good monitor. Very nice trick with combination of graphics modes and scrolled text which needs some real time calculations.
PS. I always suspected that JAC! is a robocop, being able to calculate it all in his head! :)
