and it's all video basically. (and not a demo, perhaps more a music disk so dunno why this was in the demo compo)
post malone: I didn't disqualify because compo rules state explicitly that playing back _a video file_ is the hard limit. I will make sure to explicitly exclude the case of playing back _multiple_ video files from a double-clickable and alt+f4able loader per rule next year, because you've got a good point with this imo.
AI or not, this sucked.
I don't go to demoparties to watch compilations of tiktok ads
No idea what the idea behind this was, but it looked like an NFT ad made using AI slop. If it was intended as some sort of a parody, it could use more work. If not, it could use being sent to /dev/null.
I was hoping for something as unique as Medium, but to be honest, it's a disappointment.
NR4: this is what the 'wild compo' was for ;)
Considering your "Art Of Hard Coding" thing, this was... not very "hard coding" of you. Unfortunately neither the idea or the aesthetic (wtf) did make make up for it. Deserved last place that tarnished an otherwise high effort compo.
This annoyed me as well, for being very repetitive, for being way too long, for being unclear, and for looking very much like AI generated content.
I can’t believe this comes from M Pet
really, no.
Watching this felt bewildering. I am honestly not sure what I am looking at. Sure, it's a simple JS wrapper around a bunch of video clips, which disqualifies it as a demo in my book. Then again, it's like turning on a TV show in a foreign language from the middle where you have absolutely no idea what's going on or why, and that captivates you in itself.
what Preacher said.
and yeah it belongs in a wild compo

Staggering how cringe AI usage can get, but on the other hand - it was hilariously bad 😂 I was stunned every time one of the ugly AI animals fell down.
A tough thumb then ... wtf?
lame
i guess every evoke has at least one repetitive AI slop demo that just won't stop now :c
Man... It's so sad to read all these comments.
I watched Arte more times that I can remember, in my student's room, back in the days.
I never followed the evolution of MrPet as a scener, but the simple fact that he moved from code to graphic design is an interesting fact in itself, given the cult status of the Arte demo.
Considering this prod is 2 years old as of my post, the AI contribution is probably quite limited to the static images. It's even obvious that the little bears are AI-generated : you can see it at the odd dithering pattern, for instance. However, the VFX stuff could probably be classic post-production
And the whole idea is kind of cool... I love these kind of experiments that tend to suggest a different way to enjoy demos. It's even a bit meta, if you think of it, a demo showing someone moving from a demo to another.
Love the whole Cyberpunk atmosphere as well.
Anyway, in respect to the fact the MrPet is gone too soon,

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, click here !

It was too repetitive, the toys looked AI generated and i didn't like that the animation had this vertical video aspect ratio.
