Really nice looking effects here.
Oh there's so much awesome stuff here. Beautiful colour choices, kicking msx, 15 (?) quality effects, and some really neat tricks in there - I particularly love the subtly offset/interlaced display for the fire/cube part, which totally beats a previous version of the same effect which doesn't use rasters at all :) Awesome.
Man, this is awesome to produce such a beauty without using bitplanes at all. The overall execution is magnificent. Very nice flow and some nice conversions of existing bitplanes effects. This is just great as usual with DHS. Lots of skills involved in here.

Oh boy! This demo is an insane effort. Not only does it contain some absolutely stunning effects, it's also done with great style! While watching it's easy to forget you're watching a zero-bitplane demo. Almost seems like constraints have no impact on DHS! :-)

I like how DHS approached the 0-bitplane conundrum with a very newschool mindset, whereas for the SMFX demo we went for more oldschool-inspired effects. It was great to see such a diversity in the competition.

Nearly Incredible !! Amazing 68000 and st mastery / coding skills here !!! I still can guess how many of these effects can be without bit planes / bitmap with such a precision ! It must be a very intelligent construct of tricks and optim. done in several stages of coding before assembly. Huge work & mastery !!! Nice looking fx with many new school like. Music and gfx with that tech constraints rocks !! Respects.
