it's been dead for years now... they should have opened up the source if they wanted to keep up... - AOL wouldn't have gone for that, and open sourcing something doesn't guarantee continuation as there may not be enough people willing to take up the mantle and learn the entire codebase enough to continue development well if the original devs can't or don't want to ...
