Moving on from tin foil hats
ive been spooked a few times regarding this phenomena
and perhaps it contains clues about the universe(PROGRAM) within which we exist...
to explain some of my spooks recently have a look IN THE DIRECTORY ENQUIRIES SECTION at www.TeleMate.tv
where you will see - the names of businesses are similar to the names of TV films/programs eg SUPER TAN!!! and STAR FLOORS!!
being that one could then have a low level secret conversation with the super tan delivery man
or something like that... or maybe you might ask a star floors rep if theres a carpet which has a dark side to it :) LOLOL
so it starts off a a joke right!!
(I'm assuming this is telepathy or maybe a variation of it... i had no idea its illegal is it??? i hope not!!!!)
now explain why i was freeked out the other day
I suggested that telemate add THE OMEN glaziers name to their directory....
that evening a muscle went in my back and i had to go to hospital it was 4 in the morning
anyway there i was in casualty the place was empty just me there when some guy comes in with a broken shoulder...the nurse asked what happened ...he said he fell down the stairs....he then said he was a GLAZIER!!!!

another strange thing happened I did a model of a character and printed out some postcards of the picture...but i accidently smudged the back of the model in my paint program when i was preparing it for print....that was a few days before my back went!!!!.... i repaired the picture today and now my back feels better already!!! THATS FKING SPOOKY!!!!
other stuff like this has happened to me when ive been creating pictures.....people say things...i think of the picture and then something spooky happens??
i cant explain it???

ok basically
i thought up the idea of calling a Glazing company 'OMEN' glazing ...because in the film 'the omen' theres a wikid scene where they are glazing a building and a sheet of glass slides off the back of the lorry and chops someones head off....
so it was the only fim i could think of where glazing was involved...
the idea being that if someone smashes your window you call the omen glaziers the idea being that the person who smashed your window might be a little 'put off'
(sorry you probably havent seen the film 'the omen')
its a horror film...
to conclude and be a little more comprehensive as you requested...my belief is that whilst growing up and perhaps whilst making demo's one comes to the understanding that perhaps just maybe we are inside a computer program....the person may then go on to try to work out how the program started(how god created the universe) and what the computer and heaven might look like, how it is powered etc etc etc...
In Ras Tafari religion (ethiopian religion) they beleive that the bible is only one half of the whole truth and that the other half is written in mans heart...
in the bible/revelation it also talks about a seal...those that have the seal will be saved at the end of the world to begin the new world...
my beleif is that the seal 'is' the computer or if u like it is the password/access code/picture which is the other half of the bible that is written in mans heart...
So whilst a person is growing up and making demo's and then searching for the answer to life the universe and everything perhaps in a search to discover how the universe began/what makes it tick and maybe how to create another one ie...the perfect demo!
i beleive that when a person opens his heart and sees the truth written in his heart that then and only then will he realise 'total understanding' ie and have the mind and eyes of god...
at this point the subject would be aware of all that is wrong in the world and know exactly how what why it 'should' be to put it right...
the subject at this point would have or inherit power right?? so then if that person makes a mistake or does not fully understand in totality it would throw the system off balance and cause accidents/problems/hallucinations etc etc etc
I beleive that all mental illness is caused when people are in search of 'the answer' to the missfunctioning society that causes their problems...(eg poverty)
and in part they start to discover the truth in order to try and solve and tackle the missfunctioning society...
however in doing so the slip into a lower level
eg C++ or basic, they start to slip into the 'workings' of the machine because they are trying to change the world(missfunctioning society) and stop all the problems... however they do not understand what is happening to them and they get confused etc etc
and end up in a mental home....

Maybe coincidences are messages from an outer reality. To connect with collective unconscious as Carl Jung once said. Or perhaps there are more explanations out there. I can't think of something more now, your stories are funny or interesting (Modelling someone's back and then getting injured, wicked? Imagine what would have normally happened to me after I'd finished The Poor Freak demo =)))

optimus: my guess about these coincidences is perhaps that if we are part of a collective conciousness (spiritual/psychic network) of some sort in our subconcious then the actions of 1 person can effect another person... and somehow the other person/s or objects(even ads on TV) appear in your life like the circumstance with me when i was in casualty...and the glazier appeared... but i am sure this happens if you are RIGHT about something or if you are WRONG about something important or significant....
In the general flow of normal everyday life this does not occurr...

often if i have an idea about something or a thought comes into my head it will appear say on the news or in a few days everyone will be talking about it or i might think about someone and they will appear a few days later....

Hmm,. I have never experienced coincidences having to do with my creative works in the demoscene or everywere else. That would be cool!(?)
But I've experienced others in real life, like remembering of a friend that I have to meet for a very long time and then another person tells me the same day "Hey, I've met (the same guy) yesterday!". Or making a very weird new for me thought for the first time and the same day some magazine/film/etc. shows the same thing to me.
Or,. ok perhaps there are conicnidences in my scene life too (but not so spooky ones after I finish a personal creation yet, that would be cool ;), we were talking about 6dof voxels in Retroficial demo, I just downloaded the same demo before Ken Silverman's new releases with 6dof voxels, and accidentally have seen in Doomworld forum's that they also discuss about using voxels in Doom. Wow!

Well,. if you think the other theory that everything is in our head. Like a matrix. I don't know, I wish more true scientists were into such weird matters and analyze them objectivelly. Tens of years of paranormal phenomena theory and we are still stuck in theory. It feels weird..
