i honestly believe the largest reason people are developing scene-stuff for consoles is because of the novelty of it.
and so far, the more novel the platform the more gimmicky the demo. unfortunally.

oh, and really - it's not like the pc-platform itsef stops people from doing intresting, innovative things - so that argument for doing console-demos feels a bit weak. if most pc-demos are obsessed with rotating, shaded objects - why not do some more pc-demos that aren't obsessed with this?

As well as you should not expect all music to be as interesting as what Madonna produces, you cannot expect all demos to be interesting and innovative.
