A while ago, we all remember seeing the new productions released under the TRSI label.

If they were TRSI productions or not, it doesn’t really matter.

The thing is that something INTERESTING happened in the scene for once: A dude called ShanethewolftheDog released a production, under the name of a wellknown crew.

What happened? Everybody suddenly knew who that Shanethewolfthe-what? Fellow was. He popped up from nowhere, and made his name shine! Brilliant! That’s what all of us tries to do with our productions, one way or another.

After that an open letter from TRSI got released, saying that those prods were no real TRSI prods.

What happens next?

Shanethewolfthedog starts up a new crew, called “The Fearmoths” and pumps out some productions, which really are different from the average boring scene production, they add something, something FRESH!

I did show these productions for some of my friends, who are not into the scene, and almost all of them ended up with a smile, saying something like: Hey, that was actually pretty cool! Not like all those other boring demos.

I mean who the fuck wants to see all those boring bumpmaps over and over again? Me? No!

Shanethewolfthedog’s productions DO have some artistic skills, maybe not in every narrowminded sceners little world, but they do, and above all they sure have originality. Who else would seriously consider producing a demo using “Say” these days?

And then, another production pops up, a promo intro for a diskmag which really looks nice, and actually makes you wanna read that mag.

One problem, the makers of the mag didn’t know anything about the intro. They start complaining about different silly things. And there’s an Anti-Shanethewolfthe-who? Movement growing bigger in the scene.

So the only reasonable thing to do is to complain, and tell him to fuck off, when they should be happy instead over the fact that someone pays enough attention to their mag to actually make them a promo intro, FOR FREE!

Every other mag complains because they don’t get ENOUGH support, but this mag complains when they GET support!

If someone would make a demo to promote me, I sure would be happy!

Strangely enough, the makers of the mag, decided to include the intro with the mag when it finally gets released, why? Ah, lack of support hu?

How does the average scener react upon these productions?

Well, he starts throwing shit at ShaneTheWolfTheDog for fucking making them in the first place, man, this is worse than in the days, when a lamer was just a lamer and noone took any notice of him.

Nowadays, we pick up the nearest rifle and shoot his fucking head off.

And then a virus pops up, the author?

Shanethelittlebastard!!! Lovely! This little scene-rebel has now got the whole scene shaking!

When I heard this my whole body broke out in a big warm laugh! This was it! Now he had finally broken every ooooh-so-holy-little-rule in the modern scene of today. So provocative, so non-scenish…so genius!

This is what the old scene of ours needs to wake up from it’s slumbering state.

It was long ago we saw so much life and felt so much feelings in this dying scene! So many articles, so many debates, so many angered sceners, this is really cool! Use these newly discovered feelings that he brought upon you and create some cool productions instead of slagging him off, ride on your feelings…

…and then MAYBE we will see some interesting productions for a change!

I would like to take this chance to thank Spot personally for writing such an eloquent article about me! I remember feeling really moved when I first read it in Showtime 16.

He sums up my intentions and achievements better than I could!

my view is that shanethewolfthedog should get THE FUCK OUT OF HERE.

plus, shane, there are several hints that you are a certain scener who quitted the scene just to come back in this pathetic form. please stop this mockery, if it was ever funny, it is not funny anymore since a long time. either come back properly or don't come back at all. kthxdie.

Face it guys, Shane really thinks he adds something special to the scene; he believes his own hype. And the more attention we give him, the more he will believe in his own "abilities."

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got music to write...

I still find it funny how a bunch of people can get so angry about nothing. ie. Adok makes a comment about The Producer's new synth and everyone tries to hang him. Ego...

Same with Shane. People don't like him to get the attention because they think they deserve it more. What did he do? Kill your parents? Burn down your house? Steal your girlfriend? Crash your car? Eat your lunch? Step on your cat? Soil your shirt? Break your glasses?

Oh and Shane, I alsomost forgot, stop antagonizing people. As funny as it is to see some stiffs get mad, rubbing their faces in an old disk mad is just stupid and demeaning.

Mr. Groove: Shane holds the distinction of being the only pouët user to have a BBS thread deleted entirely. Something to do with stalking another user, and not just in jest.

And if you'd bother to even skim the "article" posted above, you'd also know Shane has fraudulently posed as at least one other group.

who cares about shane, what we really should get rid of is the stupid mags-scene and all the conservatistic ex amiga zealots who just don't know that the scene isnt about bbses anymore. i wish i could say that they arent destroying the scene (for real this time) but i fear that's what's happening.

the same kind of attention a demo that deletes your HDD contents would get.

I would just like to add that I'm going to try that "cite" option this evening.
