ryg: haha, good one :D

ryg: altona/wz4 support both dx9 and dx11. also a rudimentary linux/gl2 port, and fully working console ports [wii, ps2, ps3, xbox360] that need to be removed before we can ship.

it's okay ryg. i was just looking from the point that is right here. what you gonna release else is yours. i'd just be happy with a working kkrieger system compile to mod in whatever wz version and i'd try to do some levelshit just to call it a second chapter!!! there's some outdoor ideas missing. ;)

"The V2 software synthesizer, still unmatched when it comes to generating procedural music and sounds in unreasonably small sizes." - pardon?

Yes because there's little released competition out there. SaneStation is more or less the same, but we're now 10 years later, there are so many great 64k softsynths that can beat v2 easily, but they're not publicly available.

BR 404 and ProTrekkr are at least two more avialable synths. You have a choice.
xTr1m: Quiver?

I hope more groups follow your example.

Why do you have the console ports? Does it have anything to do with the old texture edition thing?

xenobyl: nope. Altona (the platform abstraction layer thing) and Werkkzeug4 were both used at 49Games (Chaos' old company, now defunct) for their games. Hence the console ports.

so in a way this is all thanks to bigpoint for buying 49games out? ;)

I'm not sure how git pull requests work but:

wysiwtf: the wz4/altona bit. the wz3 bit is actually unencumbered ever since we closed theprodukkt for good last year :)

This is awesome! I tried using the build of Werkkzeug3 that BoyC uploaded and I get the same problem I always get with demotools, completely blank 3d viewscreen. Tried with .debris and kkrieger. An AMD or windows 7 issue?
added on the 2012-04-16 06:08:15 by Mewler Mewler
you don't see anything once you load the file, or you never see anything period?

for debris/kkrieger, you need to find + show the correct "root" op first. will write a short note describing what to do...

Thanks! Worked it out, find the root node and press "S". No issue, just me being a noob. :3

Thanks, just need to work out some issues. Like a lack of thread safety it seems in core libv2 routines....
