If you think you are a scener, if you know who are the sceners or if you know what the scene is, you are invited to join the first planning session of the communal/social documentary of scene. This documentary is supported by YLE to make sure it will really happen but the content is made by You.
So you know where to be at Saturday 23 October at 2.. at least if you are near by.

Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) will create a documentary (series?) about demoscene. The documentary will be planned at Alternative Party on Saturday 24th October from 14 at the club. Workshop is open for everybody. Please participate to ensure that all the right demos, people and stories gets into the document!

ps. still don't have a ticket? Ask your friends to give you a discount code. There are some for scene and if you are fortunate and got a flyer, you'll find it there as well. Choose the better one if you are planning to stay over night.

If they'll make it to series, I think they'll probably pick up some newbie group and then follow how they make their first (or one of their first ones) intro / demo to next Assembly (because it's mainstream, baby!) and their entry will subtly be taken straight to big screen pass the jury and pre-selection, since wouldn't it be embarrassing if they were disqualified on national TV? :O

Jenni honey! That is what you want the documentary to be ? As I told before, this documentary will be a collective one and the idea of the first session is to decide what themes and content scene wants there to be..

Also: this will not be a documentary made for the granny from the woods but from scene to scene. Nobody really yet promised this will be shown in national tv btw..
