Why do you like demos?

An interesting question, don't you think?
Me: If I get past my glorious focuses in the scene and heroism delerium,..
.. I think I like them because I am a visual mathematician. Perhaps that's why I prefer software demos too. It's hard to explain you the feeling. It's like having a table of dots and you define with pure logic, algorithms, maths every fuckin way these dots will appear. I developed into someone who watches any gfx (in demos or in games) and analyzes whether it's realtime or an animation and what must it be doing. It's like the mathematician in the film "a beautifull mind" where he watches the tie of another mathematician and he constructs shapes and symmetries with his imagination! It's like Esser's art!!!
That's the most pure reason why I liked demos. How about you?
