category: general [glöplog]

Hello ppl !

I'm a real n00b here, and I wish you can help me a bit :)

So i'm looking for a really old amiga demo (a500). Don't know the name of the crew who mades it, i juste remember the music (but it dont helps a lot), but the main effect was a "chessboard" moving in every direction and waving...

If this talks to you...

thks :)

Overflow: ok, taking a WILD guess here.

Music is Purple Shades by Hi-Lite, intro was by Wizzcat. It was a very, very smooth chessboard waving.

Music was also used in, I believe, 'Seen before' by Scoopex and a great little intro with a mountain/tree flyby. Anyway, try looking for 'purple shades' by Hi-Lite.

(I'm betting this is the one because the tune is so incredibly good and that sinus chessboard was so well done with it.)
thks everyone for replying :)

Sorry for the lack of details, but my demo-culture seems to fade away with time :o

thks for tips, but i listen to Purple Shade, and it wasn't this song :/

But, as far as i can remenber, the music was OCC SAN GEEN by Uncle Tom (the same that was featured in Scoopex SevenSins demo), and demo was by Paradox ????

arghhh this is so far away ... :(

hum, I remember a demo like this. On the chessboard was drawing some lines (kind of labyrinth), and scrolltexts.

At a moment, the floor stop to move then waving like a carpet (amazing effect! =), and the music was great as the sevensins... can't recall the name!
...every paving stones drew a part of letters, like a led-scroll but with the "space harrier" chessboard :)

databases can't remember everything, but they can be a guideline to find stuff.
