The quest for the Breakpoint 2008 pizza stand hot sauce

category: general [glöplog]

BB Image

On the right side is a regular Sriracha scharfe chili sauce, which is also availible in a hotter variant with a red cap. - These are fairly easy to find around these parts.

On the left side is something else, which I still haven't managed to track down. It was pretty clear, and the bottle was full of some sort of dark grain. People who tried it will probably still remember that it was much hotter than the regular Sriracha - please help me identify it, so I can get a bottle of my own. :)

the guys at CSI: Miami will help you to enlarge and rotate the bottle so you can read it and find out the truth

I have already called my big idol HORATIO CAINE, but unfortunately he was busy at the moment putting on his sunglasses...

Is it the pizza guy to the left you would like your own copy of?

I _think_ you can buy this sauce at a shop around the corner here, I can check that out within the next few days if I'm around there and don't forget about it...

You need to call the FBI so they could zoom on the picture to display the name in actual size, and maybe find the IP adress (should be 499.269.301.4 like only FBI-on-TV(tm) is able to)

i was scared off that sauce. it brought me to tears from only watching it.
though, a brave streetuff was standing next to me, spoiling his already spicy pepperoni-pizza with yet another dose of that pesky sauce. you may want to track him down and ask him out, i'm sure he's an expert on that matter by now.

those things above probably easily kick the ass of my humble collection of genuine indian sweet chilli sauce for chickin[tm]. i fear that stuff in the middle the most, better wear gloves and safety glasses when you open up that one. =)

oooh, I remember having "Blair's possible side effects death sauces" in evoke06. 0xtob gave me only ONE drop of the thing into that chilli, and I cried!! (I LOVE THAT)

Can't find that sauce anywhere else though...

I would say the one with the red cap (as in the 1st photo).
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sriracha: different flavors different cap colors.

Yay, the quest for the Breakpoint 2008 pizza stand hottie is over!
Styx: please do find out.

Also, I need:
BB Image and BB Image ...

I do not need the Nitro, but I think 216 or Curly Brace may.

Yes those are dry rubs. They are for meat. I use them for soups, actually.

Also, notice how folks stateside get ripped off by one company trademarking the term 'Sriracha' ... that stuff in the states is not that great. (And thus anyone stateside about to suggest the answer to the question: don't.)

On the other hand, the local (now ex-) hotsauce shop in C attle didn't have death rain once, and I needed a fix, so the guy basically goes to his stash and gets me a small amount. That's a good hot sauce shop. (And that was BEFORE I bought 4 things. Hey, they had jalepeno stuffed olives. I'm sorry, jalepeno stuffed olives are just what a good martini needs.)
also: B: yes. I know. we need to discuss plants.
*bump*

Scamp have stated that the regular food stands will return, so chances are the still unknown hot sauce will too - look out for it! (I will not be attending this year, so I need somebody to do the dirty work this time)

Don't let them get their hands on that extra strong stuff - they're just going to mix it with alcohol and create SUPAH-EVIL chili-schnaps ... (and what's worse, I'll end up tasting it at some point or other)...

hahaha curt_cool, I believe your are beginning to suspect us of making snaps of anything we get our hands on?
