Visa: The first ~30 minutes were pretty much sucky, the rest was a quite cool commercial show. And somehow it looks like it was taliban propaganda – who of us hasn't enjoyed the destroying of the city? ;)
Probably a ripoff of this

Saw it yesterday. Nice vehicle for special effects and product placement though I was a bit let down by Megan Fox caked in chav makup and looking like she stinks of sweat!

Whoever scripted the retarded dialogue was asking for severe punishment. Seriously, the sheer number of awkward WTF moments is embarrassing.

The first half an hour felt like a horrible parody of an awful night rider episode, including the worst jokes to ever grace the silver screen. Most of the rest was a loud and trashy render farm show-off wrapped in a never-ending string of action sequences. Which was kinda cool.

So, it's pretty much what you can expect from a Michael Bay movie based on a 1980s toy franchise. :/ Even the 1986 animated movie was "better" (Orson Welles for the win!).

I remember being taken to see the 1986 movie when I was 7. My mum threatened me with David Bowie's Labyrinth which was on at the same time. I recall being a little shit about it up until until I saw the Autobot logo on the big screen.

That movie was one of the best and memorable pieces of crap from my childhood. Anyone remember 'You got the Touch'?
