It's not an error message, but the FreeBSD setup says "Starting an emergancy holographic shell on VTY4"
Until yesterday I actually thought holographic actually meant something, but apparently it's a Star Trek reference. Today a friend of mine reminded me that Klingon is a Star Trek language and not a Star Wars one. I never followed Star Trek nor Star Wars as a kid.

Amule CVS-Version, some weeks ago:

If the Start Windows Restart when Windows starts check box is checked Windows Restart will start automatically every time Windows is started.

Although funny, this message has a point. (At least for PS/2 keyboards.) It gives you a chance to plug on your keyboard before starting the OS. (Which by most chance can't be detected post-boot)

nitro2k01: and if you hadn't confused PS2 keyboards with PS2 mice, you might have had a point ;)

mine appears time to time. it says "system recovered from a huge error" when i click to the Send Error Message button it takes me to one of the Microsoft KB pages which says:

"Unable to reach both on-board and externally plugged graphics cards... Your computer wouldn't display anything via monitor"

Fuck it. So how come i can see your fucking error message!?

Maybe because the error happened when you didn't see, the computer rebooted and Windows wa once again able to reach your graphics card?

I didn't. Although that always happens for mice, it's sometimes happened to me for keyboards as well. Maybe a BIOS thing?

damn, who started that image scaling. screw you!

the error says:

"The operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected"

when playing a movie.

And yes, it is a sensible error message if you understand directshow. Still funny though.

was the movie called Hellraiser by any chance?
Probably 'cause my card doesn't support for the correct GL, but still fun to look at...
