- demo Atari STe We Were @ by Oxygene [web]
- This demo is absolutely amazing. Belonging to the old skool Atari demo coders I have never been much impressed with STE demos, and most new school productions care (in my taste) too much about the design and less about showing off technical skills.
Well. I'm more than impressed. Not only with leonard's technical achievements (he is without a doubt the #1 Atari ST demo coder) but also with the beautiful design, art works, synchronization, music ... everything. This is the production that has me reevaluating all my prejudice against the STE.
Well done, Oxygene. Absolutely marvelous.

(And I have absolutely no idea how you managed to put all of this together in just a few months - mind boggling!) - rulezadded on the 2016-01-23 14:21:19
- demo Atari ST {Closure} by Sync [web]
- @wietze I'm very sorry for that. We've tested the new (never used before) sync tricks in Closure on as many machines that we could find. I have myself two STEs, two 8.02MHz STF and one 8.01MHz STF. I do believe there might be a problem on 8.05 (NTSC) machines, we have seen that, but I will need to get one myself to fix it. Ping me on Atari-Forum and we'll see what we can do.
(Oh and thanks for all the comments guys - it was a pleasure to get back into coding for a scene that you've all helped to keep active during all these years!) - rulezadded on the 2016-01-09 17:51:34
- demo Atari ST Overdrive by Phalanx
- Love it! But it wasn't released anywhere near Aug 1989 ;) I guess the actual date must be in one screen or another, but the "Biggie Sprite II"* one talks about "Omega and TCB having invented the hardware scroll 16 months ago" - and the earliest mention of sync scrolling ever is in Whattaheck's (May -89) Big Dist scroller by TCB (and first released in Cuddly, July 1989).
Oh, and another giveaway is that we most definitely had no Audio Sculpture demo to put in a guest screen in Aug -89 :D

*) 4+1 line sync scroller already then? Wow.

- demo Atari ST Nibbel is small and Kermit is fat by Sync [web]
- SYNC is almost more famous for not releasing things than for what we did release (the Synchron Demo did exist, and was huge). I like this screen since it both includes a 7an chiptune as well as documenting what we were really up to in '91. Embarrassingly enough, the scroller is quite correct in me being "drunk as usual" (the teenager kind) instead of coding, then.

- demo Atari ST The STar Demo by ProWare Crew
- GFA-Demo made by PWC, who later went on to become members of Sync
This MSA was originally put on the Internet by someone else, but with a corrupt music file in the Dataprint screen. Thankfully I had the original rip laying around and this version should be 100% now.

- cracktro Atari ST D-Generation Cracktro by Swedish Cracking Service International & Elite [web]
- Oh lord. It's so ugly. The finished version appeared on a Nicky Boom release (and others) by ICS. Many thanks though - I had lost this version completely myself :)
Shazz: Indeed - I was a member of SYNC as well and, through no fault of Redhead, re-used some of his well written code snippets for interrupts and, I think, the star field. - isokadded on the 2012-04-30 00:12:10
