@grazey: I actually did a prototype of the Phaleon Demo menu in 96x54, and some attempts at rotating rasters :)
As promised, here is the full source code.
The source code itself is totally unmodified, so all the bugs and ugliness of the structure is for you all to see. The only change is the I removed the test images from the data folder, and fixed the script so it does not refers to hardcoded locations on my disk.
