- demo Windows Etch-A-Sketch by Candela
- Ya know, prods like this are why I still love the demoscene after 19 years. Two minutes and thirty seconds of outstanding design, code and music that light up your day.
Thank you Candela! - rulezadded on the 2011-01-05 07:35:19
- demo Windows Beyond the walls of Eryx by Andromeda Software Development [web]

- demo Windows STS-05: Royal Temple Ball by Synesthetics
- Other than wanting more, I think this is another slick well put together Synesthetics prod. I would really love to see another long prod from them like Instant Zen.
All said, Synesthetics makes great stuff. - rulezadded on the 2007-07-20 05:33:44
- demo Windows Zenit by Nesnausk! [web]
- Holy Crap! That is a hell of a lot of modeling work right there. That gets them a thumbs up.

- demo Windows Gamma by Outracks [web]
- IMHO, this is very innovative prod. I don’t even know what to call the simulated digital artifacting and transitional noise, but it’s a really cool effect that for a second made me thing LCD was shot. Furthermore, the music, like the effect, takes the standard techno demo tune and infuses it with a neat, off kilter beat that works beautifully with the demos tight pacing and synchronization.
There have been a bunch of great demos as of late, this is one of the best.

- demo Windows Noumenon by Andromeda [web]
- This is one of those demo's that is far better than the sum of its parts. It also helps that it had a sort of retro Amiga feel to it and was well put together.

- demo Windows in.out.side: the shell by Nesnausk! [web]
- Very cool, even 2 years later.

- demo Windows fr-041: debris. by Farbrausch [web]
- Great music, great design, great concept and incredible (can’t believe my eyes) coding. How they procedurally generate all that content just boggles my mind. This is probably the most perfect example of a demo prod I have ever seen. I am not worthy.

- demo Windows STS-01: Lucy in the Sky with Deities by Synesthetics
- This was a great prod anyway you cut it. The original MFX prod, while technically a great demo, was a tad pretentious and loaded with mid-2000’s demo-cliché’s like over filtered simulated analog look, headache inducing strobe flashes and lots of abstract 3d models and surrealistic environments.
What makes this prod great is how completely, though gently, it satirizes the original while improving on it in several ways (kick-ass remix of the soundtrack). On top of everything, it features Synesthetics trademark slick, processed look and smooth animation – it’s obviously well coded. No, it isn’t as technically impressive as the original, but it’s way more fun.

- demo Windows Dreamchild by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Four years later and this demo still kicks ass.
