- @bifat Thank you. That makes sense. In some situations the accelerator (as low end an accelerator as it is) can be a help. I wonder how often I'd be better off with it disabled... Something to think about.

@bifat Does my comment ^ on A2000 68000 vs. 68020 an expected outcome? Thanks. - rulezadded on the 2025-01-16 17:07:56

- This is another example of a demo that runs smoother, more fluid on my Amiga 2000's base 68000 than when the A2620 (14.3MHz 68020 board w/ 2MB 32-bit FAST RAM) is active. I suppose it's coded so close to the base hardware that any variation affects performance. Does that make sense? The base system has 1MB CHIP and 4MB 16-bit FAST RAM that is active in either mode, that 2MB additional 32-bit FAST RAM active when the '020 is engaged. (I compared the two modes capturing it on my vidcam to be able to compare reasonably.)

- 64k MS-Dos x (Lapskaus) by Nocturnal [web]
- Very nice! Maybe the best reflective phong shading I've seen as far as appearance and speed. Is glass smooth on 5x86 160.
