- So finally we could take out our tool for a test drive with this production.
Tropical Trevor has been pushing me for over a year to finish the tool and wanted to help out with this production. Deception of Gain took 7 weeks, Short Transmission took 7 weeks, and this one took 3 - 4.
With this demo we basically had 3 goals:
1) Pulverize all our previous productions
2) Have our best demo track yet and shake the hall
3) Finish in the top 10!

- Partyhack we did in 2 days at Revision. Code by me and music by Mr-Z. Our engine has gained a lot more features and functionality since 2012 (OpenGL 4.2, a deferred renderer, shadow mapping etc) still 2 more coders to this project would come in handy :). So would several artists ;).

- This production is incredible. This is definitely one of the most UNDERRATED intros of all time. Comparing the synthesizers to the original song, it's an almost exact match. Including this whole 3d stuff. Yes I agree it might be a bit cheesy, but remember that it's only 40 (FORTY!!) KiloBytes. ON AN AMIGA AS WELL.

Yup, we are a demogroup from the 90s era, we started in 1999, but none of us had the guts to start programming. We were all like 'We cannot ever do something like that'.Then in 2005 I started my computer science education and in 2010 we made a first attempt to write a demo, just to see if we could do it. - So first comment, I would like to thank all the people who motivated us on our other prod's page. You guys were right, we did better, and by far. This prod was made in 7 weeks with the current engine. We will expand and we now have 12 months again, and this time we do not have to start from scratch again. I can only hope we will do better next time!
Small remark, this demo crashes on ATi cards due to a shader compilation error. We were too drunk and lazy to fix it before submitting but we will provide a fix later on. Yes, well we generate all the primitives ourselves instead of using a library, and I didn't get around to supply correct texture coordinates for everything :P - isokadded on the 2010-04-12 17:41:35

- Hehe yes I'm sorry about that (A) Everyone knows programmer art sucks lol. If only we had more time and experience we would've released a much better demo, instead of just using cube maps for everything since our texturing really sucks :D
