- demo Commodore 64 The Trip by Fairlight [web]
- What for a nice storytelling. Really enjoyed watching this nice, funny and entertainment demo with some nice hints like the farbrausch debris stuff. The light cone of the car at 03:43 also flashed me a lot. Very nice and lovely details. Great work! ❤️

- 4k procedural graphics Windows quattro by k2 [web]
- Nice scene and cool modelling / texturing for a 4k procedural image. Only the round headlights don't seem quite right to me. Otherwise, great work!

- 64k Windows Tension by Digital Dynamite [web] & Aenima [web]
- During the stream, I watched the original version (Wild/Anim) from 2002 on my second monitor.
What this 64k intro delivers is beyond incredible. It truly took my breath away! Simply impressive and incredibly awesome at the same time! Respect, awesome work from everyone involved in this 64k intro. ❤️ - rulezadded on the 2025-04-21 01:09:14
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Naomi by Satellite
- First impression:
What a cool A500 demo.
Second impression:
And with that, my final and personal conclusion: A 29 MB exe for ECS/OCS - or therefore only startable with a HDD? I'm seriously wondering what this demo needs 29 MB for. Probably not for the music and samples. So I strongly suspect that the whole thing is just some kind of animation with a player. A no-go due to the size. - isokadded on the 2024-11-03 22:39:13
- demo Windows Stranded by MadWizards [web]
- I don't really know how to classify and therefore rate this demo.
At first glance, the look and design of the thing certainly look very nice and impressive.
However, the demo didn't really grab me personally, what I would call a cool scene demo.
At least when the unpacked size of 379 MB is reached, the scene spirit is gone for me. I think that this - and other demos of this size - simply lacks that certain something; and somehow ruins the image/feeling of the demo scene (small code, incredible technical tricks and effects/algos, etc.).
If I see correctly, the three EnvMaps alone take up 125 MB. And "streaky-metal1_normal-ogl.png" is really a 2048x2048 single-color blue texture?
Personal conclusion:
Overall, it's nice to look at; but unfortunately not more than that due to the resources required. (maybe it makes really sense to create a new category for this kind of demos) - isokadded on the 2024-11-03 22:23:29
- demotool Commodore 64 Quantum Soundtracker

- demo Atari STe The Coders' Guide To The Demoscene by Acid Team [web] & Jakub Husak
- Amazing demo with great effects / transition and cool music.
I really like all the DotObject/Scene transitions and the great depth looking starwars fx. Just an impressive old school demo that I really enjoyed to watch. ♥ - rulezadded on the 2024-09-17 00:45:23
- demo Windows Fast Forward by Doomsday
- Ohhh.... 337 MB for this?
This circumstance unfortunately destroys the magic a little for me.
Anyway, cool demo - isokadded on the 2024-09-15 22:45:52
