That's why I wrote in the nfo that the denoiser in this 64k is still buggy, because among other things it is worse optically with NVIDIA GPUs than with AMD GPUs, as if the texelfetch function on NVIDIA would select the wrong mipmap level even though the ASVGF work textures in my incomplete ASVGF implementation don't have any mipmaps at all.
In short, the 64k was developed with my AMD Radeon RX580 8GB and finally tested with my NVIDIA Geforce GTX1060 6GB in another computer of mine roughly, if the 64k runs also on NVIDIA more or less correct.
So accordingly, this 64k runs better (and faster) on AMD than on NVIDIA in the end. - isokadded on the 2019-06-30 21:46:53

- @noby The video capture is exported with a AMD Radeon RX580 8GB with the normal (Non-Scaled 1:1) Ultra-Quality, directly from the marchfabrik editor. And most scenes uses a pathtracer/pathmarcher-depth with up to 10 bounces, and some only up to 8 bounces. This means that the more bounces the slower, especially since the whole thing is raymarched and not just raytraced, even though the scenery seems to be simple at first. Raymarching is in the end somehow somewhere always costly, especially with multiple bounces per pathtracing/pathmarching sample per pixel.

- The password is in the .nfo file (also in the zip), only the .exe in the .zip is encrypted and password protected (the .nfo not) for to avoid false-positives from webcrawler-style snakeoils and also generally from desktop snakeoils.

My primary aim in the most cases is just to have fun while working on my 64ks (and on the possible research work regarding it, for example, new rendering techniques and new softsynth synthesis algorithms and so on, where I can then not infrequently use the results of it in other non-demoscene projects as well), and if I win also something in the end with it, it's a nice side effect that I can take with me with it.
In short: It's not always about winning, but rather also about just doing things and having fun while doing these things as well and maybe learning also something at it at the same time.
But there are also exception cases for me, for example, the one after next 64k from me for Revision 2019 (in other words, the 64k after the next 64k for under construction 2018), but I will not reveal anything about that, except that it'll a production, where several people will be working on it. - isokadded on the 2018-08-23 03:02:01
