• I tested a new technique (at least for me) in the rotozoomer. Typical is to generate a tileset with every possible 2x2 array of chunky pixels (thus resulting in an effective maximum resolution of 40x36 pixels for the effect). Instead, I ran an offline optimization to try to find the optimal tileset to represent the 128 x 128 pixel contents. It gives more resolution, but also produces those weird jagged artifacts. In the end it did look better than the chunky pixels, so I went with it.
  
  As a further note, the first instance of the 3D cube has a single pixel glitch visible in the hardware capture. I cannot reproduce that glitch in any emulator. Possible new hardware feature discovered :-)

• Just stumbled on Flux's blog while implementing TMDS in Verilog. Found it as I was looking for 720p mode lines, but stayed because of the promise of demos!
