Lovely gameboy classic demo. I liked the twister and the rotozoomer seemed to be done by some broken tiles and joked about precalculating.

I tested a new technique (at least for me) in the rotozoomer. Typical is to generate a tileset with every possible 2x2 array of chunky pixels (thus resulting in an effective maximum resolution of 40x36 pixels for the effect). Instead, I ran an offline optimization to try to find the optimal tileset to represent the 128 x 128 pixel contents. It gives more resolution, but also produces those weird jagged artifacts. In the end it did look better than the chunky pixels, so I went with it.
As a further note, the first instance of the 3D cube has a single pixel glitch visible in the hardware capture. I cannot reproduce that glitch in any emulator. Possible new hardware feature discovered :-)

Many nice effects, I liked the twister in particular, it looked really nice!
Platform thumb, solid effects, music gets annoying over time...
makes me curious what 50% effort would look like
only 4 thumbs? this demo rocks! the twister is the nicest twister on GB so far IMHO, the rest of the effects is cool as well, gfx and msx are nice, lot of effort!
