• demo Windows lapsus by Maturefurk
• From what I remember of the asm2k demo compo, this demo
is a great 3d show, with finely crafted 3d objects (great modeling)
and very nice pictures by visualize. Only bad point was the
way they used 2 tunes by radix, sticking them together. The music and
the graphics are not playing well together.

• demo Windows the day the earth was born by The Planet Of Leather Moomins [web]
• One of my favorite demo this year, perhaps the one I've been watching the most
so far, it features: randomly generated vector effects (in the beginning) which
gives a quite eerie feeling to the demo (together with dune's soundtrack), and
mostly an old (but very fast) tunnel effect + variations. The rest is done
by all the synchronizations between the effect code and the music. yes,
  psychedelic is the word :)

• demo Windows Purple by Orion [web]
• This demo I think will become a classic
with time. It needs to grow on you.
Actually the story seems to be centered
to be a dream. (hence a few strange
stuff like this teddy bear in the spaceship
part) I think the dreamy atmosphere is quite
well done, and the soundtrack is very nice and
really adds to the mood. Not an effect demo, but
I think a nice story demo finally...

• demo MS-Dos te-2rb by The Planet Of Leather Moomins [web]
• The soundtrack for this
  production is a *must hear*.
One of the best, if not the best
track md ever made, also featured
on the disk musidisc released on
  fivemusicians.

• A really great musidisc,
  lot's of flavours,
  lots's of moods,
  lots's of jazz,
  an urban music trip!

• demo Windows Freestyle by Condense [web] & Syndrome [web]
• this one is a nice story-based
demo. We follow 3 characters in
  a nice cartoon like
  environment. And a nice music
  complete this package.

• demo MS-Dos Windows moralhardcandy by blasphemy [web]
• A very beautiful demo,
  with a very clean,
  multilayered design.
  An abstract show with
  a great soundtrack by md,
  just on the edge of
  distorsion and melody.
Definitely the best demo of 99.
