• @g0blinish: Well, the code you posted mostly just spams memory. Mine bases sound and visuals on internal 32-step sequencer, updates it predictably and syncs to system timer, so it's a bit different approach.

• @JTZ: Not really. It's just a leftover from a development version, which initializes variable holding current joy state to later test when it's moved. But it's the only leftover (just checked) and doesn't affect anything later on. In the development version I used joys (actually keys on emulator) to edit 2 byte values controlling the effect variation. Naturally, in final version they are controlled by playing of the demo.
  
  But I'm really amused by "I noticed" on your part! Nice find, and I'm really curious how you noticed that. :)

  While running it on HW make sure you have BASIC ROM enabled.
  This is also true for emulators, which may come without BASIC ROM - you have to install it first to have true Atari setup.

• Nice little prod overall, but could have been a lot better. Music took some damage from the compression (compare with this), the gfx doesn't really show how great Jok's skill is and most effects don't really exceed STE capabilities. But as I've said, nice little prod, overall. :)
