- cdc #2: Agenda Circling Forth by Fairlight [web] & Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- demo Windows Fairytale by Traction [web] & Brainstorm [web]
- this is a damn cool demo, but hardly a second where i don't think of ASD, just without the huge amount of triple-a modelling. and when i finally came to the conclusion they have thier own direction, the guitars rock in and everything feels greek again.
anyway, once i can get my mind clear of that ASD-connection, this will be an enjoyable demo of highest standards. - rulezadded on the 2007-04-10 20:37:46
- demo Windows STS-01: Lucy in the Sky with Deities by Synesthetics
- my favorite in the compo (considering that i can't vote for myself :-)).
on first glance it looks like a colorful funny trip, and if you look closer you'll see some very sophisticated effects happening to the "whatever", some of them hard to notice on the big screen.
its entertaining AND technically interesting. a real demo. - rulezadded on the 2007-04-10 20:23:31
- demo Windows Noumenon by Andromeda [web]
- while i was preparing the pc competition, some guy was standing behind me and asked if he could check on the compo machine. and then i saw the half forgotten andromeda logo, all the handles, FTW!, one effect after the other, not a single screen without some kind of idea!
i kept the disk. "235 PC DEMO ANDROMEDA". - rulezadded on the 2007-04-10 20:14:13
- demo Windows fr-054: polar by Farbrausch [web]
- praetor_alpha: not supporting widescreen displays when running in 2:1 would be a crime :-)
the demo needs the 2:1 aspect ratio because it wraps 360° x 180° to the screen. using any other aspect ratio would look distorted.

- demo Windows Duality by Conspiracy [web]
- actually the machine forms the centrino-logo, so the demo "needs" the logo as kind of "finale".

- demo Windows Torpedo by mfx [web]
- How can something be more typical MFX? I don't care, I like it.

- demo Windows tactical battle loop by Fairlight [web]
- Awsome is the word for this. But the music doesn't touch me at all and there is no real end.

- demo Windows Lithography by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- my favorite from the compo. fits nicely in 30 seconds and looks perfect.

- demo Windows fr-054: polar by Farbrausch [web]
- 30 seconds was the competition limit. until we provide a remix you will have to do your own - with the interactive mode. unterstanding the number keys is easier if you start with '9'.

- demopack Wild Demo or Die! Vol. 5 by Abyss [web]
- for dos demos, i recommend mindcandy vol 1. unfortunatly that does not cover intros ... wait for vol. 3 or something.
"demo or die" dvd's are great. i just fear that a lot of work is waiting for bartman when he get's a hd-tv set... - rulezadded on the 2006-10-10 20:43:39
