• I kind of have to agree with Plek here. There's actually some good stuff there (I kind of enjoyed the cubemap stuff and the shadebob zoomer and so on), but the framerate is iffy at places and visually it's a bit of a mess. I'm sure it's part of the irreverent demostyle, but some sort of cohesive design definitely would not hurt.

• Whoa. The saturation hurts at places, but it's got its moments like the camera movement in the beginning with the oil derricks. Overall it's wawy too much sensory overload for me - Lots of light, lots of fast camera movements, lots of noise, lots of everything. The good parts should perhaps have been extended and some of the others cut.

• Great concept, pretty good execution, and the overall creativity here is a fantastic. I kept waiting for it to pick up speed and intensity and it never did, which is kind of a shame, but it still had me jamming. Loved the camerawork too.

• It's nice to see proper geometry in 4k instead of a blobby implicit field. The intro itself left me a bit cold though.

• The black parts and the glitchness work really well for me, but overall this left me colder than Absolute Territory. It doesn't give the same sort of feeling of an abstract space to me, and hence what's left is the general appreciation for the tech and nothing more.

• I enjoyed the first minute a lot, it had a lovely mood, nice subtle animation and a refreshing change from usual Pyrotech stuff. The rest is not my cup of tea at all, although the production values are definitely there.

  However, there is something here that bothers me a bit. The rendering quality is stellar, but with the quality comes a sort of an uncanny valley in my eyes, and I don't quite connect the music with the visuals. Maybe it's just too prog for me and I better enjoy the parts for what they are.

• This makes mes feel the same as the Andromeda comeback long time ago - my childhood heroes are back but it's different from what one would expect. It's not off-kilter bitmap effects, minimalism and funny bitmaps, but something completely different. And it's marvellous, very demolike in the oldschool sense and completely 2018. And in that same old spirit.
