- diskmag Windows PAiN #56 (12/04) by Pain Staff [web]
- megadelux: It's difficult to make a magazine that focuses on such a narrow range of topics as the demoscene still worth reading after so many years in which demoscene magazines were released and in which more or less all aspects of the demoscene have already been discussed in articles. At least this issue of Pain contains one interesting article ("Demos Are").

- demotool Windows V2 Synthesizer System by Farbrausch [web]
- Instead of releasing the tools, it would have been better to write tutorials for how to make tools of one's own. This would encourage learning and competition. By releasing their tools to the masses, Farbrausch put themselves above the scene and degrade demo sceners to consumers.

- Fox: If you want to translate Hugi to your native language, be welcome! Thus far, only the Russians have actually managed to translate anything.

- diskmag Windows Hugi #27 - Russian Edition by Hugi [web]
- Dipswitch: A total of eight persons from Russia, Ukraine and other former USSR republics participated in the translation of Hugi 27. Hugi 27 has 630 KByte of texts. That's very much. None of us is a translator by profession. All of us are studying or working. Nevertheless we managed at least to translate the majority of the programming-related articles and a couple of other texts.
The translation to the Russian language is important for young Russians who do not have good knowledge of English yet. In this way we establish a connection to our family. There are many talents in Russia who ought to be given the opportunity to learn what's going on in the rest of the world.
