- i think tesla was dumb.
and I'm really surprised by the number of times i played energia so far since I didn't really got into it at assembly. The music is amazing, the layerwork gives a profusion of visual stimuli to watch, and the code is actually very very good. (man, it works on my crappy g200 ... that's a feat) Overall it may feel a bit too sunflowerish but I think the color scheme and effect selection has matured even more. I really like how wojtek married those 3d objects and abstract lines. - rulezadded on the 2001-09-06 08:57:43

- optimus i am bonk. BONK from PC Kid. (pc engine, hudson soft)
(and btw ripped music imo nullifies all artistic pretention.)
It was a good demo, some smart things there, (like, never let a screen be dead, always show some activity) some unsurprising ones, got also a nice oldschool pc touch with those reworked effects like the mountain. Globally enjoyable, but doesn't reach this year's toprank.
I know how the greek scene must feel, now you probably have some enthusiasm back and a good example to follow, but don't overly praise this demo, please look also at was has been released this year. - isokadded on the 2001-09-06 08:50:37
- musicdisk Windows chipmusicdisk #1 by Rebels
- exactly that amusic, the reason i'm not really hanging out there anymore =)
erm to be on topic, nice varied chippie disk.. interface could have been fancier and i'd be a happier man if it worked in linux; but i guess i ought to record the tunes to minidisc or something. - isokadded on the 2001-09-05 22:16:33

- erm, i see nothing really innovative in ripping music personally :) (at least my internet searches for 'warlock' by caravan returned some old english group or something)

- demo Windows manifesto by Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- we're not talking about creativity in its lowest sense (as in being able to create things) but creativity in introducing and realizing concepts within demos, creativity in the way you use the machine (that will make you look at a 3d card not just as a polyfiller inside a 3dmax scene replayer but as a tool which can be abused) creativity in exploiting the medium to its full extent and not just use demos to mimic other forms (like animations and music videos) ... its there, in their text! dammit :)

- demo Windows manifesto by Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- Oh, and by the way the production probably refers to the "dogma95 manifesto", also known as "vow of chastity" which was created by a collective of film directors composed of persons like Lars von Tries, who denounced the current state of movie-making. (http://www.dogme95.dk)
