• The first effect completely works on the my-brain-doesnt-understand-a-thing-but-cant-help-trying-to side of things.
  
  Later effects are easier to grasp, which makes me think it could be even more effective to put the easiest first, so it gets harder and harder to understand the image, until the brain completely gives up and gets in some sort of trance state. :)
