- demo Linux Windows R.E.D. by Rgba [web]
- Good. I like the little touch of fading out instead of simply hard exiting on escape, BTW (I tried it in 640x480 first, but figured it would look a lot better in 1024x768) ;-) Pity about the extreme loading delays/hangs between the scenes, though.

- Oh, I forgot to add: The soundtrack rocks, of course.

- demo Windows meteor by Marshals
- The music could have been a lot better, and having obvious vertex-envmapping-artifacts in effects dubbed "pixelshader glass" isn't all that cool either... ;-) The Stonehedge scene rocks, though, and there are other neat scenes in here as well. :-)

- libXxf86vm is _supposed_ be a static library (and it is AFAIK in XFree86 upstream), since the protocol is a non-standardized XFree86 extension. There are distributions shipping with .so versions, but that is braindamaged and non-standard. Link to it statically. :-)

- demo Windows fucked up distortion by Yaphan
- A lot better design-wise than earlier Yaphan-intros, although the parts before the greet scene are definitely best. The font-design is extremely kusma-inspired, though ;-) (And yes, the vocoder thing is old.)

- demo Windows Chagas by Progress [web]
- Mostly boring -- the meta-effect seems to stay on the screen forever. And no, I don't think a demo automatically becomes cool if uses software-rendering. :-)

- Gargaj: Yes, that scene is quite RTT-heavy (to put it mildly), but debugging such things without actually having the machine there isn't all that easy :-) If you come to Solskogen, we can look at it there, perhaps :-)
