- demo Java Classic Triangle by Digital Nerds [web]
- I dunno... I was kind of put off by the whole thing, probably because I was expecting a nice comeback from Digital Nerds, I guess :)

if all the time you've spent requesting videos and downloading them were expressed in minimum wage, you'd be able to afford two xboxes by now ;) - isokadded on the 2005-08-09 15:57:31

- wild Animation/Video Demo Junkie by Future Vision [web]
- Pretty tacky in places, but it's actually a nice smorgashboard of old demoeffects.
The silence during the compo when the C64 came in view was golden. At any german party such a cheap shot would've meant instant gold ;) - rulezadded on the 2005-08-09 03:58:25

Yes, heaven forbid that they would code their own crappy internal tool instead *cough*
Admittedly not an amazing piece of work, but I love the soundtrack and they *do* show progress, unlike some *coughCOUGH*.
Double props for their effort and scene spirit. - rulezadded on the 2005-08-09 03:53:17

- 64k Windows Che Guevara by Fairlight [web]
- I'm not sure why people praise this to high heaven.
- The music is very well done
- The overall design of the models and characters is pretty nice.
However:
- That's some seriously eye-gougingly bad cartoon rendering there!
- The utterly wrong motion blur just makes me want to bite my screen
- I will hate the character animation until senility finally will kick in for me (whether this is yesterday or in decades to come is open to debate).
On a whole the experience was set back by these two factors. It's still a pretty good piece of work but I can't see what people find so damn earthshattering about this. - isokadded on the 2005-08-02 13:59:10
