- Quote:I don't like writing music reviews. Actually I wrote a "review" of the Variform Remix only because the other 2 music disks that appeared in the charts had been reviewed for this issue of Hugi.
Here's a comment: Try to actually write about the review subject. Hint: "My favourite is #7" is not a review.
I'll focus on reviews of demos, intros and diskmags in the future. - isokadded on the 2006-08-22 15:48:15

- IMHO this had the most impressive visuals of the top four 64k intros at Asm'06. Too bad it only placed 2nd, it would have deserved more.

- IMHO there are some interesting articles (e.g. Ghandy about Clary / Breakpoint). The articles seem to be edited carefully enough. So I'll give it a thumb-up.

- It's a good magazine. The source of inspiration for the "Golden Rules" is well known to me :-)

- Indeed. How nice. Only sound playback does not work well with DOSbox, but maybe that can be fixed by changing some options in dosbox.conf. Sound quality already became a bit better after raising the sampling rate.
And about the mag itself - a good issue. I especially like my own articles and the diskmag reviews. :-) The only thing that irritates me is the way I nagged at my co-editor in several articles - wow, I wouldn't have tolerated if the same had been done to me... But I've improved my social skills meanwhile (hehe). - rulezadded on the 2006-08-13 22:32:57

- Whoever added the screenshot, please contact me. I wonder how you managed to successfully start this mag. It doesn't work on my own PCs.

Optimus: Sorry for that! Short before the release of the Hugi issue so many articles were left unproofread that I sent them to voluntary proofreaders (whom I didn't know well). Mostly they seem to have done good work, but such "overproofreading" may happen. - isokadded on the 2006-08-05 08:51:37

- ps: The 16 Mb are mostly due to gfx. You may have noticed we're using 1024x768 and many illustrations inside the articles are actually full-screen images which are only displayed downscaled inside the articles (that's why you can enlarge them by clicking). This occupies far more space than 640x480 full-screen pics and max. 300x351 illustrations inside the articles as we had it in the past.

- "One thing I seriously don't get is why you attribute this release to Assembly 2006"
I won't tell you why now. Just wait a couple of days. - isokadded on the 2006-08-01 16:31:25
