- Hallelulia and praise our lord Jesus, brother! What a wonderful format and achievement! Now that demos are becoming humanity's cultural heritage and finally receive the attention that was missing and held them back as an artform, many shall follow your example and spread the word of Jesus our lord in innumerous productions!

- 96k Atari ST Do old school intros possess artistic credibility? by Effect
- The font rulez and gets more of the message across than what is written with it. :-)
Do tropes and references constitute art? Are they part of it? Are they needed? I tend to disagree; art is that part of a work what excites and appeals to human nature when all context and cultural references are stripped away. Demos are totally dependent on a technocultural expert predisposition to function, and they are more often than not overwhelmed by tropes and references. All demos are artisan craftwork, but there are only rare glimpses of art to be found in demos, and hardly ever in all departments at the same time. If you really want to get art out of a demo, your best chances are on old platforms. Dedicate everything to it, seclude yourself for years, teach yourself in all departments, find approaches as uncompromising and radical as possible. And then you still only get a video out of it for the random bystander. Compare that to a cave painting. - isokadded on the 2019-12-09 04:34:55

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS e255 by Bomb & Sanity & Dreamdealers [web]
- Not worth a thumb down, as it's technically not OCS (doesn't work on Rev.5 A500, not even with lots of memory and HD), runs on A3000/60 with several parts visually b0rked. Effects a prime example of "french realtime". Glaringly shallow also in some artistic departments. Seems to be crafted on and exclusively for emulators.

- It's an exe because it ain't a trackmo. I just started it on an AGA machine (A1200 HDD w/ and w/o accelerator card) for the first time. Indeed, there's a tiny glitch in one part on AGA...

- Excellent! Some of the best music I heard during Evoke.
Very pleasant experience, except for some text overlays and the greetings part which broke the immersion into the abstract. - rulezadded on the 2019-08-21 14:19:27

- I cannot say that I disliked any scene. The visuals were very pleasant to my eyes, but I voted for this production for its fantastic music. Just 32kb only adds to the appreciation. I cannot watch this on the computers I use, so a video would be nice.
