- wild Animation/Video Realtime Demo Wannabe by Maxon [web]
- this has so much great stuff going on that i actually would like to rip it apart and create at least two completely different demos from it. one comprising the awesome 3D visuals and one having all the retro-esque goof stuff, for example. feels a little like a waste of some outstanding ingredients. but hell, it still got me off my chair :)

- demo Windows Media Error by Fairlight [web] & Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & orange
- it's amazing to see how when FLT is up all of the sudden some individuals turn into sensitive, demanding critics who otherwise couldn't care less about the notorious repetitiveness and lack of concept in the demoscene. i don't get it. seems it's becoming fashionable now to nag on FLT.
well, what do i care. to mee, FLT again managed to stay on top of everyone else simply through their utter elegance, aesthetics, visual ideas and keen sense for style. yes, they keep going in their vein. but heck, so do most of you. and yet, one shot of this is still way sexier than most of the rest. well, i have my moral winner : P - rulezadded on the 2007-08-05 23:46:54

- invitation Windows ASSEMBLY Summer 2007 Invitation by mfx [web]
- When seeing the fluid particles of the first few seconds I was all \o/ and expecting an exceptional ASM invite for a change. Unfortunately it went downhill from that towards uninspired, cheesy pop templates with lots of blablabla that you've read zillions of times before ... actually, the typeface would be worth thumb down alone. But, oh well, the first few seconds of awe saves it ...

- demo Windows fr-056: gravity of the moon by Farbrausch [web]
- i absolutely appreciate the glitchy, experimental approach and the subtle soundscapes in this one. totally fits. only downer: there's not much of coherence or conceptual flow in this one. looks rather like mismatch scenes randomly thrown together. yet, i liked it a lot.

- demo Amiga AGA Senzala by MadWizards [web]
- I always have this extra appreciation for MAWI demos (I still love Heavy Traffic to death), but this one kinda didn't reach me. Lack of inspiration and especially lack of progress -- everything looks just like 5+ years ago. I'd cheer for a MAWI demo that would go in a new audivosial direction. But heck, I take what I can get MAWI wise ;) .
