- there we have it, hugi 30 and sad enough, I think the issue still is not as good as the rather famous hugi 10-20 have been.
some nice articles by preacher, some not so interesting coding articles (how many max exporter articles do we have to endure until every last scener has written such a beast already? entro-.net articles are nice and well written but perhaps not very scene relevant..) funny optimus hysteria and last bat not last EP-mania.
I still don't get EP's point. In one article he's describing him getting in touch with the scene and all his thoughts seem coherent and clear, then there are articles like "what girls want": to cite the first three points of it:
What girls want:
* having fun: so use humour in genereal and make funny demos :) :) :)
* Having sex: they want men who love girls so don't fuck mens assholes
* Having children: this is their primary function in life
[...] I dont event want to state my opinion on those points, I think it will be sufficient to leave them commentless..
In some other article EP complains about shocking visuals some demos feature and that demos should instead be friendly and harmonic. I don't mind sceners having different tastes but all in all this very state of mind as presented through hugi 30 gives me the creeps. really.
Either this guy is doing a really great roleplaying-job in trying out how far he could go before people would start acting pissed or he must have suffered something tragic in the last 29 years...
anyway I hope Hugi magazine will get back to be really interesting soon. good luck for issue 31. - isokadded on the 2005-02-06 02:21:01

- demo Windows DXM.JPG by Deus Ex Machina [web]
- well yes it bugged. _tremendously_. Actually this is a pitty because the gf3 enhanced demo really looked alternative, freaky and there were even jpg like artefacts :)

- flash-a-delic meets windings. Although the tune isn't really my cup of tea I acknowledge the party-feeling the autors indended to create.
AbcuG!: Judging a demo by its techniques is so september 10, the composition was great, therefore: thumbs up.
and yes: it works on gf3, quite perfectly. - rulezadded on the 2005-01-04 13:39:18
- demo Windows fr-038: theta by Farbrausch [web]
- I like the track and I like the emotion transported. The only thing that baffled me a bit was the sudden ending.
