  (see my little space shooter (sans shooting) in a few lines of BASIC, which I did a while ago. Turns out, you can scroll quite a few lines, before it stutters too much to still be playable).

• Pretty awesome stub of a demo. They won't do a final version with more content I guess, but I'd appreciate it. As it is, it's simply too short/small for a thumb yet.

• Interesting take on the source material, but I'm not feeling it. It lacks the goofy charm of the sloppy c64 version and the flow, sync and statue of the original. Every time they try to make it their own (by improving on the effects), it's either too slow or doesn't work well enough, although I did like their take on the "another way to scroll" part. Especially the big 3d flyby part near the end has no impact here, compared to the original version, due to frame rate and camera path issues.

• There's quite some cool stuff in this rubble, but I feel like someone put three different intros into a blender and mixed and matched parts that would be fine (with some polish) in a different context, but really don't work well as a random mix of unrelated stuff, as seen here.
