• As am I, I think that laughing at him is pretty lame. But I don't think foreigners can really grasp the point.
  
  For the non-Finns: Matti Nykänen is an institution and a good source of money for trashy tabloid magazines. The former world champion and olympic winner has, among other things, been in jail for stabbing a friend, had a singing career (people go see him for laughs), posed naked and married the same woman four(?) times, just to beat her up and divorce after. He's also an alcoholic and generally not in control of his life, and the tabloid press follows his every move.
  
  A movie (a comedy, as far as I've heard) about his life premiered a while ago, and this demo is probably inspired by that.
