- Great demo!
nice gfx, nice music, nice (but slow :) code.
most parts run at full framerate on my setup (which quite frankly is the only setup I care about :), except for the scene when there are some 3d-stash behind the teared painting of some mountain-landscape. On the other hand, that scene runs at maybe 3fps or something.
Setup: Athlon1200/Gf2Ti64mb/384mbRAM/win98se/dx8.1
Thumb down: will come if not running in full framerate in the final version ;) - isokadded on the 2002-04-23 08:48:13
- demo Windows Edge Of Forever by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- phoenix: well.. if it had fewer effects lasting longer, would it then be boring? I like the fast transistions, it makes the demo exciting to watch over again, as there are new details to discover every time :)

- great stuff!
I love all the lighting and blurring tricks :)
and the scene from the screenshot was a nice and original touch :) and there are not too much dwelling with each scene, but a nice and steady progression all the way.
as a sidenote, I consider this the most uplifting demo of 2002, whereas most european demo tend to be dark and gloomy for now. again: great stuff! - rulezadded on the 2002-04-21 06:01:30
- 64k Amiga PPC/RTG Planet Potion by Potion
- have only seen it on video, but I am longing _badly_ to see it realtime!! omfg ;)
ps: farbrausch - time to make something that piss on the amiga scene again :P

- demo Windows Easter Egg by Orion [web]
- not my sense of humor, no impressive code, no impressive modelling, ok music I guess :/
my guess is that if the crowd at ms2k2 hadn't been smoking so much pot, this demo would not have been placed high at all :) - sucksadded on the 2002-04-09 13:04:20
- demo Windows Adrenalin by Smash Designs [web]
- I was a bit disappointed that I got severe frameskips in some parts, running the demo on an athlon1200/gf2ti 64mbddr/384mb/win98se-system, I don't like the vocal samples in the soundtracks (they are both not fitting, and also too loud in the soundmix), and yes: it's _too_ long.
except for that, the modelling is great and the lighting is, as in sleeplees, beautiful, and the music sounded very promising until the vocals ruined it (kinda hardfloorish :)
Anyway, I'd thumb it up if I had good performance, but since I didn't, I don't :) - isokadded on the 2002-04-09 12:57:31
- demo Windows fr-020: in control by Farbrausch [web]
- yes!
and for all those people lesser into different styles of electronic music, this is neither goa nor eurotrance, but "electronic body music" or EBM for short. And the track roxx, so I guess a lot of you have misunderstood ;)
(yesyes, taste of music is a personal matter. please, no flames :)
kb: what about letting apoptygma berzerk do a remix of your tune for the final? :o) - isokadded on the 2002-04-07 17:22:53

- I liked the concept of this one, and I really like the pool (even though it would have looked better with smaller waves ;)
anyway, it was TG02's best title for a demo. undoubtedly :) - rulezadded on the 2002-04-07 11:56:33
