- smash: took my computer down into black unresponsiveness in the end (Core2Duo E6600, 2GB, GF7900GT, WinXP Pro 32bit, ran it at 1600x1200)
Still have to make up my mind about the demo itself, I'm still undecided between being awestruck because of the scenes or bored to death because of the direction. We'll see. - isokadded on the 2007-07-03 12:22:09

Other than that, I can only agree to the others: Brilliant sense of Style, music and direction. - rulezadded on the 2007-07-03 12:18:05
- demo Windows STS-05: Royal Temple Ball by Synesthetics
- Solid STS material. I agree with fiver here - first part rocked bigtime, second part was a nice rehash of what we know from you already. And the end felt a bit out of place.
Still: At that point when everything began to sparkle, you got me sitting there thinking "oooooooh shiny". perfect. :) - rulezadded on the 2007-07-03 12:15:37

- that engine isn't isometric btw. It's parallel projection, granted, but isometric means more :)
Then again "real" isometric rendering was totally unfeasible anyway in the 8bit era, so no miracle the word got somewhat diluted. - isokadded on the 2007-06-30 17:08:53

- Best greetings part ever :)
Yeah, "Zaxxon 2007" was also the first thing I thought first - before getting sucked in by the thousand little things that happen.
I like it. I must admit that this demo would probably never ever work in a "normal" demo compo, but perhaps we're starting to see the one advantage of that Intel compo here - you don't have to cater to a few hundred drunk entertainment-addicted people's hunger for sensation. And that's good. - rulezadded on the 2007-06-30 14:51:31
