• Lovely. But how come the scrolling pictures scene was not done at normal res + smoothly?

• Enjoyable, and very clean rendering. One big flaw for me: the lighting is too dark (judging from the youtube cap). When the fractals look this good, I want to see them :)

  Oh, and maybe there should be some special rule for demos like this that just miss the compo requirements? Like they're allowed to enter, but not win a prize.

• Fairlight demos are always a bit hit and miss for me.. technically, usually a hit.. technically on my hardware always a complete miss :D But the design is also hit + miss. Sometimes I love it, sometimes it can feel too ad bureau or game trailer.
  
  But this time.. it's like all the attempts to impress got abandoned along the way, and a few nice effects were thrown in to make a demo. Same with the design, it's not got that "we have pro designers" feel like some of the past demos, it just has the design it needs to get the job done.
  
  And that's why it works for me. It's not trying to blow me away with design and code, so I can kick back and enjoy it more. The design and code are there to be appreciated too, less in your face perhaps, but all the more enjoyable for it. It's more mature, and I think it'll be longer lasting. Best flt & friends demo in years.
  
  Now, I'm off to check out the rest of stereo wildlife's music, not heard of them before :)

• Any chance of the 3d video being uploaded to youtube using youtube's actual 3d support? I don't have that particular type of 3d glasses, but youtube will happily convert it (and also play it for everyone with a 3d screen) if it's uploaded correctly.
  
  (Not watched the demo, so for now I'll judge by the screenshot and give it a pig :)

• I'd just like to send huge fuckings to the cd player in my car. It plain refuses to play this. After inserting the CD at least 20 times and having it spat right back at me, it *finally* started playing.. then my wife called, and I hit pause. And it spat it out ;(
  
  I'll try again, recording at 1x on a top quality disk. Wish me luck.
