- @Hareiet: Yeah, in average about 4 Bytes per SSE instruction...I just wanted to give a start to that as it gives such a speed upgrade and should be explored more, as we hardly use the speed potential of modern CPU's within 256 byte sizecoding by now. With some extra instructions due to the dual issue pipelines we can even reach >50 FPS at 1024x768, but that's > 256 byte, check the extra and timing folder.

- 'to AND OR NOT to AND'...a binary raycasting rhapsody at 1024x768 with brute force SSE 4.1 code showing 16 variations of binary object combinations. Check the extra folders for more stuff on fast rendering with SSE on DOS. Youtube is here

- ...for the drama I put that Russian sentence into google translate...sounds quite fun in German: "Würden Sie mehr Buchweizen kaufen, während Sie den Quellcode lesen, wird er in angemessener Menge benötigt" :-) that again in English "If you bought more buckwheat while reading the source code, it would be needed in a reasonable amount"

- ...IIRC Risc OS doesn't support Thumb, of course would be shorter and may be doable, but also that full screen blur thing relies heavily on those NEON instructions...calculating 16 pixels per loop very easily and fast.
