- 80k Windows Pirates of the 777 seas by Razor 1911 [web]
- well, this is not particularly 'artsy', technically advanced or anything -- just a collection of sub-par effects with a superb tune playing. but hey, I love the spirit behind it and the fact that it has been released on a japanese demo party (the home of our true chiptune overlords ;)) so.. thumb UP!

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Hardwired by Crionics & The Silents [web]
- happy 20th anniversary (!). I wish I could thumb this up twice!
p.s.: Of course the ST is a tribute to David Whittaker's Panther but I see nothing wrong with that (we all did that back then and everyone knew the tune(s). nowadays not giving credit would be considered lame, though..different times, I guess!) I happen to know the track from his Amiga remix for the game Sidewinder -- came with the (second-hand) miggy I got in '89 :D - isokadded on the 2011-12-30 02:27:20
- musicdisk Windows equalize it by Lego [web]
- I almost can't believe it's been 8 years since this one was done.. I just noticed that on my current PC the CPU load was way too high (~30%.. thought I had fixed that)
so here is this update. should be in the ~5% ballpark now (depending on the tune being played. some take up to 30%).
press F3 to disable the SID emulation (in order to see how much load the graphics take)
p.s.: I don't expect any kudos for this. it still would be nice if someone could test this to confirm that I finally got that freaking engine more or less right :-) - isokadded on the 2011-12-12 02:33:28
- musicdisk JavaScript DisIsSid #4 HTML by Abyss [web]
- ah well, the brave new world of HTML5 .. 90% CPU load on my 2,83Ghz machine, scrolly is not 100% smooth, sound stutters heavily if browser does not have focus. firefox 8.0 here.
(~70% CPU load in Chrome but sound stutters heavily all the time)
but well, that's hardly your fault so here's the thumb for making this "testcase" :)
and for the tunes, of course -- golden oldies! - rulezadded on the 2011-12-11 20:50:45
