- demo Windows Metamorphosis by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- i don't like the visuals that much, but the story concept is neat. the deep thump of the bass line in the beginning sounds great!

- demo Windows Aphorism for the Masses by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- really cool visual style in this demo (i haven't seen the others yet - this one was shown at nvscene). the music is nice overall, with great bass that's shaking the room, although there's some really sharp treble synth sounds early on that were hard on my ears. again, really nice to look at this one!

- demo Windows Size Antimatters by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- navis presented this to us at nvscene on the big screen. It looks really nice! The music is pretty good, although I'd like to hear a more forceful rhythm. The noise at the end is nice.

- demo Windows fr-041: debris. by Farbrausch [web]
- well done, but a bit long. the bass drum and the sound-effect rumbles are giving us a really nice boom at nvscene. :) i especially like the greets and the buildings crumbling.

watching this at naid 1995 with a few hundred other demo fans, just hours after it became available for download, was unforgettable. what an incredible moment!
i believe it was white noise who was on the net at the party, looking for new demos, and got his hands on this. i don't remember if he watched it before it was shown on the big screen/soundsystem.
i didn't go to naid 1995 expecting to see a new production that would become a demoscene classic. however, i wasn't so surprised to see such a thing come from a finnish group released at another party.
the music is great with unique samples (until we started using them ourselves :), and my favorite effect is the fire clouds (simply because of how it looks). the effects boxes were a very cool idea - if the audience doesn't cheer when you draw orange and yellow swirls on the screen, maybe they will when they're told that these are larusse fire clouds. :D - rulezadded on the 2008-05-26 17:47:22
